Today I am pleased to announce that I have published new Sitecore course updates on Pluralsight! Managing Sitecore Docker Containers provides ASP.NET web developers with an in-depth guide to developing and deploying Sitecore using Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Container Registry (ACR), and SearchStax. It is a follow-up to my other Sitecore courses Getting Started with Sitecore Helix, Building a Sitecore Helix Website, and Administering a Sitecore Website.
We have created separate learning paths for Sitecore 9 and Sitecore 10. The Sitecore 9 learning path includes the previous versions of my courses from 2019 covering Sitecore 9.0 – 9.3. We added versioning slides and updated the names of the courses to reflect the versioning: Getting Started with Sitecore 9 and Helix and Building a Sitecore 9 Helix Website. This new learning path also includes both Managing Sitecore Docker Containers and Administering a Sitecore Website as those courses are not version specific and apply to both Sitecore 9 and 10.
The existing learning path for Sitecore has been renamed to Building an Administering a Sitecore 10 Website. The versioned courses in this learning path include Getting Started with Sitecore 10 and Helix and Building a Sitecore 10 Helix Website. I also fixed the issue with IntelliSense errors in the SDK project for Building a Sitecore 10 Helix Website! Thanks to Anders Laub for providing the fix.
I have also updated Managing Sitecore Docker Containers! A new Module has been added to cover working with Sitecore versions. There are new clips covering how to Dockerize Sitecore 9 implementations as well as updates in Sitecore 10.2 that apply to containers.
My next projects include a course on Troubleshooting Docker which is not Sitecore specific but will still be useful for Sitecore Developers. This course is in process and it should be out in May/June. I also plan to work on a course teaching Sitecore Headless Services/JSS. This is the most requested topic for me and I’m so happy that I’m finally able to work on it. Stay tuned!
