Today I am pleased to announce that my latest Pluralsight course has been published! Managing Sitecore Docker Containers provides ASP.NET web developers with an in-depth guide to developing and deploying Sitecore using Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Container Registry (ACR), and SearchStax. It is a follow-up to our other Sitecore courses Getting Started with Sitecore Helix, Building a Sitecore Helix Website, and Administering a Sitecore Website. This intermediate-level course teaches you recommended practices when managing containerized Sitecore implementations. Throughout this course, you will work in a Sitecore convention themed website featuring real Sitecorians from around the world. This course covers everything you need to know to get up to speed quickly. You will learn the basics of docker as you create and manage images and containers for a Sitecore Helix implementation. You will work with Sitecore images as you build a custom solution image and add the Sitecore Horizon module. You will work with Sitecore topologies in docker containers by adding the xm1 and xp0 topologies to the project and executing commands for both. You will learn the basics of kubernetes and azure kubernetes service and how to deploy your Sitecore containers. And finally, you will learn how to troubleshoot docker and kubernetes by looking at common errors and tools to help you fix them.

By the end of this course, you will be able to create, manage, and deploy Sitecore containers for a complete Sitecore Helix implementation.

I also want to thank The team at Konabos and Bart Plasmeijer. This course leverages the Konabos Docker Examples repo including clean examples to help Sitecore devs get started. We also used the Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) scripts written by Bart Plasmeijer which is an automated way to set up your AKS cluster. The resources used in this course can be found at hoffstech.com/learnsitecore. We also included a Docker and Kubernetes Cheat Sheet for your convenience.

Finally, I want to thank my husband and Producer, Jason Benhoff. We are facing a new phase for our business in 2021 and I would not be able to focus solely on authoring if it were not for him.
