Instead of doing a year in review for 2020 (because we all know it was awful), I want to focus on some positive things that we have coming to HoffsTech in 2021.
I have been working a full-time job while I was also growing our business with our largest partner, Pluralsight. I have been an author since 2016 and I am happy to say that 2020 was actually good for our business (not so much for everything else). I was able to leave my full-time job on December 31, 2020.
In 2021, I will focus on being a full-time author. I will continue to publish content on Pluralsight and I hope to branch out to other platforms. I plan to have a new course about every 6 weeks and I will cover topics including Management, Leadership, Entrepreneurial, and Sitecore. You can view a list of all my courses here.
I also plan to do a monthly YouTube video discussing my experience as a full-time entrepreneur. They say the first year is the hardest, we shall see! Be sure to subscribe to be notified when I publish new videos at YouTube.com/hoffstechllc.
Like this past year, in 2021 I plan to speak at various conferences and user groups. I had amazing experiences speaking at Pluralsight Live and Sitecore Symposium in 2020. Being a speaker has been an amazing personal achievement for me as a person who stutters. I’m looking forward to honing my skills to become a better speaker.
I would not be able to do all of this alone. I have 2 amazing business partners – Jason Benhoff is my husband and he produces all of my content. Jennifer Bowman is my sister and HoffsTech’s COO & CMO. They have both been with HoffsTech since 2016 and without them, I would not be able to do everything on my own. They allow me to focus on writing and recording new content.
