Today I am pleased to announce that my latest Pluralsight course has been published! Building a Sitecore Helix Website teaches .NET Developers everything they need to know to implement complete Sitecore websites. It is a follow-up to Getting Started with Sitecore Helix.
This course features Sitecorians from around the world and I am proud to produce this Unofficial Sitecore Curriculum by the community, for the community!
Building a Sitecore Helix Website walks you through developing Sitecore Helix projects using the Sitecore Helix Templates Visual Studio extension. Anders Laub worked with me and provided me early access to his latest updates which should come out next week to coincide with the course launch! I can’t thank him enough and I very much appreciate all the late-night and weekend conversations we had!
I also want to thank Mike Reynolds and Paul Urban. Both of them watched Building a Sitecore Helix Website in full and provided review notes before I finalized the course. They provided invaluable quality assurance to this project on top of everything going on in the world and their lives. I am honored to work with them and I have learned so much from their expertise over the years.
This course would not be half as interesting if it were not for all of the Featured Sitecorians from around the world: Una Verhoeven, Jean-François L’Heureux, Michael West, Rohan Damodar Kenkre, Surendra Kumar Sharma, Amit Kumar, Peter Procházka, Corey Smith, Rick Bauer, Kam Figy, Kamruz Jaman, Ben Lipson, and Mike Edwards. Thank you all for being a part of this effort!
Finally, I want to thank my husband and Producer, Jason Benhoff. We have been tested like never before in 2020 and this course would have never been finished if it were not for him. We were not able to work on the course much in March due to the coronavirus pandemic but he got me to work on it a little bit at a time. I am forever grateful for his insightful counsel and wisdom.
This year has not been easy for anyone. If you are looking at this accomplishment and wondering how we did this in the middle of a worldwide pandemic, I can tell you it was not easy. All we can do is wake up every day and show up.
