Today I am pleased to announce that my latest Pluralsight course has been published! In the Eliminating Bias, Prejudice, and Stereotypes online course, you will gain insight into the struggles of marginalized groups in the workplace. In this course, we are going to go through several concepts featuring interviews with industry experts. You will watch as we discuss important topics to better understand how to support marginalized groups in the workplace.

In the Eliminating Bias, Prejudice, and Stereotypes online course, you will learn about marginalized groups through interviews with industry experts. We talk about the struggles that marginalized groups experience in the workplace including LGBTQIA, women, religious people, and people with disabilities (or “health conditions” as I prefer). These conversations are important and enlightening for all of us to hear stories and suggestions for improvement from people who represent and support marginalized groups in the workplace.
By the end of this course, you will be able to better understand the struggles of marginalized groups in tech so that you may support them and be an ally in the workplace.
I want to thank my husband and Producer, Jason Benhoff, and everyone I interviewed for this course. This course was a new and challenging format for us including interviews recorded using riverside.fm. We worked with Pluralsight to come up with a format that fits their platform and it was not easy! We continue to work together as a team to push ourselves and learn new trends in developing and producing online courses.
